In 2006 the company Walmark continued in acquisition activities. There was effected the acquisition of the company Aminostar that represents the leading domestic producer of dietary supplements and nutrition for athletes and sport active people.
 
The company Aminostar was established in 1998. From the beginning of its activities it has been focusing on production of sports nutrition and dietary supplements for bodybuilding, fitness and heavy athletics. By years and progressive enlarging of the production and development Aminostar widened also its product portfolio with products orientated also to other sport fields and focusing on healthy lifestyle.

The offer for heavy athletics was enlarged with the special product line ROX. The Aminostar strategic vision is based on continuous development of current product portfolio however there are plans for further development and penetration to other sport categories as well.
 
The company Aminostar lays stress especially on assuring the best quality of its products and on launching and offering innovative products approachable not only for professional athletes but also for sport active people. Aminostar relies on technological background of pharmaceutical company. Therefore there has been developed modern production plant that assures high quality of products that are produced. Besides there has been introduced recently high-tech equipped laboratory with professional staff that is a guarantee of high quality production. Aminostar closely co-operates with many leading nutrition specialists, coaches and athletes in development and launching of new products on the market with aim to maximally satisfy the needs of all customers.
 
Aminostar has currently business activities in 8 European countries including the domestic Czech market – Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Spain. However, thanks to extending export policy and successful presentation on significant sport nutrition exhibitions, the Aminostar penetrates also to other European countries as Denmark, Greece, France, Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Albania, Ukraine, Russia or Georgia with aim to become the leading producer of sport nutrition in the region of Central and Eastern Europe by the year 2012.

Besides the expansion of the own company, Walmark has been searching for a strategic acquisition in the pharmaceutical and nutritional fields as well as in segments connected with healthy lifestyle. Therefore in 2005 there was effected the acquisition of the company Profitness that is operating the retail chain Vitaland focusing on healthy lifestyle.

In more than fifty owned stores it offers wide range of vitamins, minerals, joint nutrition preparations, dietetic preparations, natural immunity-enhancing preparations, health-support preparations and wide range of sports nutrition from the leading Czech and foreign suppliers. Vitaland retail chain currently includes 42 stores in 23 towns in Czech Republic, 5 stores in 5 towns in Slovakia and 10 stores in 8 towns in Poland all in the busiest town spots and commercial centres.

The principles of Vitaland are based on providing high quality nutritional supplements and sports nutrition and to offer respective high quality service to its customers either in retail shops or through its own e-shop assured by qualified and well-trained staff. The primary goal is to provide the maximum satisfaction of the customers.
 
The Vitaland’s aim is to build a strong international retail chain offering dietary supplements and sports nutrition at the territory of Central and Eastern Europe and to expand as well to Western European countries. The main objective is offering new and innovative products from the field of dietary supplements and sports nutrition supported by scientific research and studies as well as complying with the current trends, demand and needs to the customers. Besides the standard product portfolio there are offered also supplementary services in the retail shops as iridology, biochemical analysis of hair, medical consulting with a physician, blood-pressure measurement, fat and BMI index measurement and many other services.
