WALMARK SLOVAKIA (1992)
The Slovakian branch, which is the leader in the food supplements market
(15 %, IMS source), employs 75 employees. The product portfolio includes over 100 types of product supplements. The most successful products within the segment include for example ArthroStop (56 % market share), GinkoPrim
(56 %), Prostenal (53 %), Urinal (53 %) and MiniMartians (55 %). From 2004, Walmark Slovakia portfolio has been completed with no prescription medicines (Septofort, Emoxen, Trigrip).
In 2007, the business activities extended with the Aminostar trademark, which includes about 400 various products of sports supplements and it is distributed in a network of fitness centres and stores with sports supplements.
From 2000, it includes a loyalty program ‘Health club Walmark’, which currently has 133 thousand members.
Walmark Slovakia gained several awards, such as: in 2001 and 2002 Reader’s Digest evaluation as the ‘The most trusted trademark in the vitamins category‘, in 2005 Rhodos award – 2nd place in category ‘Pharmaceutical companies‘, and in 2006 it was included amongst Top 50 trademarks in Slovakia – award ‘Superbrands‘.
