In addition to a strong market position in Czech Republic considered as domestic market the company Walmark has been building quickly expanding subsidiaries in another eight European countries (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Latvia and France). At present Walmark is the market leader in the segment of nutritional supplements in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria. In other subsidiaries (Poland, Hungary and Lithuania) it ranks among the top 3 nutritional supplements producers on the market.
Moreover, Walmark holding has been successfully exporting to another more than 30 countries worldwide with special focus on the region of Central and Eastern Europe and Europe globally, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Walmark holding is successfully challenging the competition on those markets as well and has been building its strong position there.
The international character of Walmark holding is confirmed by the fact that the ratio of sales realized in foreign markets, including foreign subsidiaries and export markets, in the total consolidated sales of the holding first exceeded the level of 50 % in 2005. In 2010 the turnover of Walmark holding on foreign markets reached 66,5 % of the total turnover.
